Katie and Brett's February, 2011 wedding was definitely one to remember! We loved getting to know Katie and her family and are so excited to share their wedding with you. Thank you to Scott Hagar for the gorgeous pictures of their Highland Park Presbyterian Church ceremony and Arlington Hall reception.
A sweet shot of Katie and her mom before the ceremony:
We LOVED Katie's flower and feather hairpiece:
Fete des Fleurs did a phenomenal job with all of the floral, including these pieces for the church aisles:
Katie has a lot of nieces and nephews, and it was very important for her family that they play a part in the wedding. Instead of a basket or bouquet, Fete des Fleurs created flower halos for the girls to wear as well as adorable flower "wands" for them to carry:
Loved that the boys wore cowboy boots!
Katie and Brett as Mr. and Mrs.!
As a very personal detail, Katie and Brett included a custom map by Merry Maps in their guest bags for out of town guests at the hotel. This not only gave them instructions to the church and reception, it also gave them a chance to show friends and family some of their favorite places in Dallas:
Lanterns lined the drive up to Arlington Hall:
Keeping with the same color scheme she used at the church, Katie chose shades of coral, green, and white for her reception flowers. Again, an amazing presentation by Fete des Fleurs:
The newlyweds enjoying their first dance:
As another way to make the reception memorable for her nieces and nephews, Emily Clarke & Company designed a kids only table, including chalkboard chargers, buckets of treats and surprises, and multicolored mini-chiavari chairs. It was all a huge hit!
In addition to fabulous catering by Food Glorious Food, the bride and groom's cakes were gorgeous and delicious:
And most importantly, everyone had a great time:
Guests were treated to late night BLT sandwiches and potato chips:
Not only did Cuvee keep the dance floor packed, they led the couple out the door with their horns section:
Guests said goodbye to the happy couple as they left in a vintage car provided by Romantic Remembrances:
